SFV U25 Amateur Tournament

With teasing rumor roaming from ear to ear in 2014, players have been waiting impatiently for the news of the official word which came out in June last year on E3. While Capcom did a release of Ultra Street Fighter IV to be on PlayStation 4 Console, they leaked a teaser video of Street Fighter V showing two playable characters, Ryu on first player and Chun-Li on second player. Later in end of August last year, the worldwide beta test was opened for players to trial over the period of five days. Locally, there was a Street Fighter V Singapore Launch Party just yesterday at Queen Street.

Adding on to all the excitement, all Street Fighter fans gear up! We are proud to announce that PlayStation will be holding the “Street Fighter Under 25 Amateur Tournament”. To kickstart the event, a series of roadshows will start from end March to June, across ITE and Polytechnics in Singapore. The finalists will be fighting for a prize pool of more than $5,000 in June at the Campus Game Festival in ITE Central College.

A qualifier tournament will also be happening at the SONY STORE in Somerset 313 on 27 February and 5th March. 8 people from the qualifiers will compete at the finals during the Campus Game Festival. More details will be available on the PlayStation Asia Facebook page & Campus Game Fest Facebook page in the upcoming weeks!
